Cincinnati is not your usual hotspot for a thriving music scene, but the cinci based band The AllKnowing is not your usual Midwestern metalcore offering. Armed with the explosive debut “Ours for the Taking†these four will go to the end of the earth and back to prove they are the true right and that all that is right is wrong.
THE ALLKNOWING. This band is pro all the way. Consisting of Jason Viebrooks (Bass/bkup vocals), John Lynn (Guitar), Shawn Harford (Drums) and Billy Cox (Vocals and Coors Light). All are veteran pro musicians coming together from various local and national bands. THE ALLKNOWING is a band that is known for their "in your face" live shows and a no bullshit, no hiding behind trends approach to writing music and performing. The lyrics are drawn from deep within themselves and sung and played with the same deep passion. Thunderous bass tones, crisp melodic guitar riffs, solid drums all enhance the raw vocals and growls which bring the lyrics to life. Songs like "I Am What You Made Me", "Be A Man", "So Complicated" are just a few that make you say "Hell Yeah! I can relate to that!"
While negotiating a worldwide release the band has decided to self-release their debut full-length cd titled "OURS FOR THE TAKING". On the disc includes MOTORHEAD’S “Ace Of Spades†sung by the late Jared Anderson (ex-MORBID ANGEL, HATE ETERNAL). THE ALL KNOWING have played as opening support for numerous national acts including Ill Nino, God Forbid, Byzantine, and securing the support slot on the Temple Of Brutality east coast tour. Jason VieBrooks played in GRIP INC. (featuring Dave Lombardo of SLAYER) on “Power of Inner Strength†and “Nemesis,†Followed by sub sequential world tours. Before that, Jason played in the Bay Area thrash band HEATHEN (with Lee Altus-ex DIE KRUPPS and current guitarist for EXODUS). Look for THE ALL KNOWING in your town in 2007 and join them in their relentless pursuit of aggression!!!
