Band Members: Del The Funkyhomosapien, Del Diablo Diabolique (That's Me), Deltron Z 3030, that's all (4 now)
Influences: I have many, but the main ones are The Funkmob, Parliament-Funkadelic. Bootsy's Rubber Band is a very close second. George Clinton and Bernie Worrell are very influential. As far as hiphop is concerned, I'm influenced by all dope lyricists, and I stay hip to whatever's happening to me, whether it's underground hardcore or pop. It's all music to me, but it helps if it has some kind of funk or swing to it. Jazz is a very heavy influence, as far as composition and playing in general.
Sounds Like: PREORDER ELEVENTH HOUR HERE! HITTING STORES MARCH 11TH!
My sound is Del's own sound, but I got a wide range of influences! Nowadays, though, I definitely try to keep it Black and funky. Anything after that is fine, but those secret ingredients gotta be present, but I'm all-inclusive, meaning it don't matter what color you are or what you may be into. I feel that anyone could get into my work because I actually hang out with all kinds of people and it all goes into what I do in some way. But genre-wise, my stuff sounds like late '70s funk/soul, for the most part, you may hear synths every now and then, but don't confuse it with the sound that the Bay is known for typically, although it's related. I'm also into real dead-on staight-ahead hiphop jammies, too, so you can find that in me too.
