I'm married to John and a mother of 2 wonderful [most of the time] (ha ha!) kids, Tommy & Emily. I'm a RMA {Relationship Manager Assistant}for Capital Bank in Hickory, NC (meaning I support 3 commercial lenders with processing loans, filing, clearing exceptions, creating new customer relationships, and whatever else needed!)and I really love my job! I'm very active at my church, where I teach 7th - 9th grade girls in Sunday School, sing in the choir, play handbells, play the flute for worship, sing in the praise & worship team, chaperone youth trips (my favorite), and do whatever else needs to be done. I absolutely love working with the youth; they're so full of energy and make me feel young; like I actually belong with them. And it's even better cause my own kids are part of it. In my spare time (when I can manage to find any), I love spending time with my family, shopping with my sister, mom and daughter, reading or just relaxing in front of the TV.

My Interests

My interests are varied. I like reading (mystery/horror), playing the flute, singing (I was part of the Hudson Centennial Choir in 2005), shopping, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

I'd like to meet:

Wil Ferrell, Sean Connery, the cast of Friends, Stephen King, Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carrey, family members who died b4 I was born, Twila Paris, Billy Graham, the cast of SNL (past and present)

Music:

I like lots of different types of music. While my very favorite is contemporary Christian, I also like rock from the 70's, 80's and early 90's. I graduated high school in 1982, so of course, the 80s are in my favorites - (KISS, Queen, Aerosmith, The Police, AC/DC, Quiet Riot). My favorite bands are Pillar, Third Day, Mercy Me, Relient K, Sonic Flood, Toby Mac, Kirk Franklin, Audio Adrenalin, Twila Paris, Casting Crowns, David Crowder Band (pretty much all contemporary Christian).
