About Me

Scott D. Davis is a self-taught pianist who lives in the little town of Dixon near Sacramento, CA. His influences include Chopin and Beethoven, David Lanz, George Winston, Yanni, and even Metallica, Evanescence, and the progressive heavy metal band Dream Theater. He recorded his first album (Piano & Woodwinds) in 2001, and has released three solo piano CDs since then, including his latest recording "Rockfluence", a solo piano tribute to some of Scott's favorite rock bands.

This is Scott's piano tribute to Metallica, and includes solo piano interpretations of Enter Sandman, Until it Sleeps, Master of Puppets, The Unforgiven, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Nothing Else Matters, One, Fade to Black, and a Metallica inspired three part original piece The Renewal.

A solo piano rock tribute, featuring piano performances of Sweet Child O Mine (Guns N Roses), Hotel California (Eagles), My Immortal (Evanescence), Nothing Else Matters (metallica), Smells Like Teen Spirit (Nirvana), Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin), In the End (Linkin Park), Wanted Dead or Alive (Bon Jovi), Open Arms (Journey), The Final Countdown (Europe), White Wedding (Billy Idol), and one original composition Scherzo.
