About Me
Since 1986 at the young age of 16 he has been synonymous with the word DJ. With influences such as Bad Boy Bill, Julian Jumpin Perez, Ralphie Rosario, and other members of the Hot Mix 5, how could we expect any less from Virgil. Like many others Virgil worked his way up in the ranks of the DJ world playing his first gig at a local Chicago house party bangin house music. Little did he know that this even would change him forever. Virgil would soon become a household name for house and college parties. Playing almost at every big party in the city from his stomping ground on the North Side of Chicago to every place he could get his records to. After years of playing at house parties and other local events Virgil thought it was time to go after the crown: NIGHTCLUBS. Through the years, Virgil has a built an impressive array of guest spots and resident spots. His resume includes guest spots and resident spots at Chicago's classic and established spots such as: Eriks North (where it all began for Virgils club dj'n), China Club, Shelter, Elixir, Crobar, Drink, Vision, Excalibur, White Star, Karma, Dragon Room, House of Blues, Dragon Fly, Rive Gauche, Sauce, Domaine, Jet Vodka Lounge, Cherry Red and many more... Currently Virgil is a resident at Chicago Hottest NightClub - LEVEL. He has been there from the start and has help build it to be a must visit spot for club-goers. You can find him playing everything from House to Hip-Hop to Rock at any given moment. His unique style of blends keeps the crown on the their feet and makes you excited to hear whats going to be played next. During these time he also has had the chance to play with and along side some of the greatest dj's to touch the turntables, including: Jazzy Jeff, DJ Clue, JJ Flores, Steve Smooth, Q-Bert, Icey Ice (Beat Junkies), Shortkut, Derrick Carter, John Curley, Dayhota, Lego, Jesse De La Pena, Uncle Milty, Michael Serafini, Tony Arzadon, Billy the Kid, Josh the Funky 1, Karl-R, Erik Kripas, DJ Speed, Adam Webb, Scotty Boy, Jernell Geronimo, Tim Schommer, Victor-R, Dj Vice, Robbie Rivera, Scooter and Lavelle and the list keeps getting bigger and bigger!!!
