It was really Gary Moore among others that made me want to take up the guitar at first and then I discovered all these other unsung heroes through this. People like Randy Ellefson, Steve Clark, Glenn Tipton, Vinnie Moore, Chris Impellitteri and Cliff Burton (as just a few) deserve more praise!
In short everyone who helped shape the sound and progress of Rock/Metal, for those who understood and supported the cause, they are my heroes. The people who once upon a time shook the world and had it on there knees.
