The Hanks, Lior Goldenberg, The Forward and this right now -

THE HANKS have finished their second album with Lior Goldenberg (Sheryl Crow, Rancid, Ringo Starr, Oliver Future, Juliana Hatfield, The Ringers). Their Record Release show is at the Knitting Factory Main Room on Thursday, March 6th which will launch their 65-date tour in support of Distance.
Lior Goldenberg returned from Israel after recording Itzhak Klepter's album. He just finished THE HANKS record. He is now working with Levi Smith (Ryan Adams, John Mayer but mostly HIMSELF), an amazing artist out of Lubbock, Texas. Then he is mixing a few international projects before heading out to SxSW!
The Forward finished their debut album produced by Ethan Allen (The 88, Gram Rabbit, Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra). Mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Hot Hot Heat). They will be playing The Hanks' record release show and will be on the road for the first 25 - 30 dates of the Distance tour.
ATN Management's showcase in Austin, Texas - March 12th - 16th is shaping up nicely. 68 slots with amazing, sometimes never-before-heard-in-Austin artists!!! Lots to look forward to. MTV and Music Saves Lives are among the initial sponsors.

Not sure why I have to specify this but . . . I do not manage Mickey Avalon. I have been getting messages from people about that. Strange - he's great but I don't manage him.

People who inspire. Musicians who would rather play their music than eat, sleep, make money, breathe! People who are in it for the long haul, whatever "it" is! People who won't take no for an answer because they believe in themselves. People who know they aren't owed anything and the pay off comes once the work has been done. Musicians who are real and feel it and know that their place in this world can change this world. People who are able to keep the mountain in sight no matter what gets in the way. People who know that they are capable of absolutely anything!
