About Me

Join The Ritch Cassidy Show each weekday from 9A-2P RIGHT HERE. Enjoy your favorite country songs, win prizes and you never know who stops by to chat with Cassidy. Garth, Eric Church, Diamond Rio and Kenny Rogers have all made it to Omaha to chat with Cassidy. If there is a star you'd like us to get on the show....shoot a message and we'll try to hook ya up.
Known for his 2 brain cells and unwavering love for country music, Cassidy began his 12 year radio journey in Lincoln as the "over-night" phone screener. From 11PM - 6AM, Cassidy made sure that all the local college kids had someone to talk to after the bars closed. If you were drunk dialing in the mid to late 90's, more than likely you talked to Ritch.
Since humble beginnings, Cassidy has went on to host not only shows in Nebraska, but pre-packaged shows in Missouri, Iowa and even South Carolina. Overnights, Nights, Mid-day and Afternoons, Cassidy has been bringing not only artist info and some the biggest Nashville hits to the masses, but entertainment as well. With the addition of the on-line stream, The Ritch Cassidy Show is poised to gain more fans, or as many call themselves, more members of the The Cassidy Crew.
Country Artists Join The Cassidy Crew
Many of the singers and songwriters you hear everyday on Nebraska's Country Superstation KAT103 have stopped by the chat about their latest projects. Diamond Rio, Kenny Rogers, Garth, Tracy Lawrence and Big & Rich all joined Cassidy in the last year to talk about new music. More recently, some of the newest faces of country have made the stop, including Eric Church, Rodney Atkins, Jamey Johnson, Dusty Drake, Rio Grande, Bombshel and most recently, country rockstar Mark Wills have brought new tunes for those in the metro and on-line to listen to. The in-depth, down home interviews Cassidy brings to fans gives not only the artist, but also the audience a chance to connect on a personal level that is very rarely heard. Along with his fellow KATmates, Cassidy was recently awarded The 2007 CMA Radio Station Of The Year (as well as 2007 ACM Nominees).
If 2007 was any indication, Ritch Cassidy and members of the Cassidy Crew are poised and ready to take not only country music, but country music entertainment to a completely new level.
As far as writers....Cassidy sites a long list topped off by Dierks, Eric Church and Chad Lee

You are listening to KAT103 LIVE!~
