I like a little bit of everything up to the early 80's.....then I loose interest for the most part. I love the early 70's glam scene....Bowie, Roxy Music, The New York Dolls, ect. and the early punk scene....Television, The Stooges, the Velvet Underground, Patti Smith, The Ramones, Blondie, ect. I like the early electronic composers like Edgar Varese, Vladmir Ussechevske, Morton Subotnik ect. (i'm not checking my spelling here) and really have been getting into Brian Eno's ambient work.....I love to read to it......other than these.....I do enjoy ol' standards like the Rolling Stones, The Faces, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Motorhead, Creedance Clearwater, The Yardbirds,The Who,ect. and some various other bands like.....Can, Hawkwind, Gong, Tortise, EAR, The Thirteenth Floor Evevators, and I really get into early 40's and 50's hillbilly and honky tonk....a la...Johnny Horton, Warren Smith......Blues.....Howlin' Wolf, Leadbelly, Mississippi John Hurt, ......Jazz.....Dizzy Gilespie, John Coltrain, Sun Ra, Fats Navarro.......so I guess I like a wide variety.
