About Me

Born and raised in Los Angeles. I always had a passion for cars.I graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1997 with a B.S. in Transportation Design. By the time I graduated, I was already addicted to driving. I was designing toys right after college and spending most of time attending various track events. After a year or so designing toys, I moved on to video games where I became a 3D modeler and animator for various game companies. Whenever I had a chance, I was still attending driving events and I even hosted my own private events at various track in Southern California. It was 1999 when I met Moto from Club4ag and we had a crazy idea of organizing a Drift clinic for some of the AE86 people on the forums. After some careful planning and a lot of research, we had our very first official Drift Day at Irwindale Speedway on March, 2002.After the first event, we hosted 3 more events in 02 and the rest is pretty much history. Drift Showoff, D1 Grand Prix and Formula Drift followed shortly after. Since 2002, we have successfully hosted 40 Drift Days and we will continue bringing more new concepts to keep the sport alive.

I'd like to meet:

If you have attended any Drift Day, Drift Showoff, Formula D event or any event organized by Drift Association, I would like to meet you. Just don't expect a long conversation when I am working at the event. Everyone is welcome to approach me to say "hi" and ask me questions about drifting. I really enjoy meeting people who are interested in attending their first drifting event. If you have any questions about drifting, don't hesitate to ask. For anyone who calls me or sends email, please be patient though because I get 20-30 emails a day and I am usually on the phone 4-5 hours a day.

Still going.....

Its official.  There is no Drift organizer that is currently running Drift events longer than me.  What really sucks is that I might be the oldest too.
