ROCK THE DRIFT is more than an automotive and music festival. Rock the Drift is an exclusive platform showcasing the world's best drift drivers in heated, head to head Pro Drift, Tandem, and Amateur Competitions with live music infused into every component of this premier event. The event features many genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop and electronica. Rock the Drift will showcase world class performances by today's hottest new and established musicians. The evolution of urban street culture has forged its own unique movement in this world.
THE FIRST ROCK THE DRIFT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!
The first Rock The Drift Festival was a free event and introduced to thousands of fans at The National Orange Show Speedway on May 25th, 2008. The next RTD event is slated for November and is going to be an experience like no other. ROCK THE DRIFT FESTIVAL II will include more Dynamic Drift Show-Petitions, World-Class Headline Performances, Local Artist Spotlight, Graf Artist Lounge, Special Invite DJ Competitions, Traditional Japanese Martial Arts Exhibitions and MUCH MORE TBA!
ROCK THE DRIFT FESTIVAL II will introduce the “BATTLE OF THE BANDS AND DRIFTERSâ€. This ROCK THE DRIFT exclusive will pair-up Drifters with Bands to compete to double their prize money. Twenty (20) Drifters and twenty (20) Bands will be judged; the top three (3) Drifters and Bands will win cash and prizes. When a Drifter and their paired Band place in the top three (3) they will each double their prize money.
The Drifters and Bands paired fate will be decided in an August lottery. Each Drifter and Band will promote their partnership with pre-event flyers and online marketing. On the day of the event the Drifters vehicles will feature the bands name/logo, the Bands will place onstage Drifter signage and they will share booth space in the vendor village for promotional use.
ROCK THE DRIFT FESTIVAL II will also showcase first-class DJ competitions. The ten (10) hand selected DJs will compete for cash and prizes. The DJ competitions will be held in the exclusive “Interactive Art Gallery†area, which will deliver artwork and drawing inspirations from pop culture, politics, traditional styles and far out ideas.

"What kind of Drift competition can you host for an audience that came to watch Turkey Racing? Easy, you host "Rock the Drift" at the Orange Show Speedway. What is Rock the Drift? Its two-1 hour shows (yes, 2 shows, 1 hour each) hosted at different times of the day in front of a enthusiastic crowd. How can you cram a competition in an hour? You get the best amateur drivers in Southern California and you take out the traditional (and timely) stuff such as a 3 run qualifier for each driver. You also eliminate the traditional tandem matches (lead and follow) and you are left with the best compact show the drivers had to offer. Was it a competition or Demonstration? It was a "show-petition" because there were no losers at the end of the day. Just great drifting!"

Coming from the Los Angeles Area Take the 10 freeway East toward San Bernardino. Head north on the 215 freeway toward Barstow. Exit at Orange Show Road, the first offramp after the interchange, and turn Right. Go straight through the light at "E" Street. Turn left (north) on Arrowhead Avenue and proceed to the parking lot entrance.
Coming from the Riverside/Orange County Area Take the 91 to the 215 freeway toward San Bernardino and cross the 10 freeway. Exit at Inland Center Drive and turn right. At the 5-way intersection, cross "E" Street and veer right onto Mill Street. Turn right (south) on Arrowhead Ave. and proceed to the parking lot entrance.
Coming from the Palm Springs Area Take the 10 freeway west toward San Bernardino. Exit the Waterman Ave. offramp. Go left at the light, onto Hospitality Lane, and immediately right at the next light, onto Waterman Ave. Travel north on Waterman Ave. to Orange Show Road [left side of Waterman]. Take Orange Show Rd. to Arrowhead Avenue and turn right. Proceed to the parking lot entrance.
Coming from the Las Vegas/High Desert Area Take the 15 freeway south and branch off into the 215 freeway at Devore before San Bernardino. Continue on the 215 south and exit at Mill St. Turn left on I Street at the bottom of the offramp. Turn left at the stop light and onto Mill St. Continue straight through the 5-way intersection, across E St. Turn right on Arrowhead Avenue, the next light. Go south on Arrowhead Ave. and and proceed to the parking lot entrance.
Coming from the San Diego Area Take the 215 freeway north toward San Bernardino and cross the 10 freeway. Exit at Orange Show Rd. and turn right. Cross E St., the first light, and turn left on Arrowhead Avenue, the second light. Go north on Arrowhead Ave. and proceed to the parking lot entrance.
