About Me

Donnie Van Stavern (DVS) Bass bashing and programming. When he's not slamming his "Dean ML "Dime" Bass with his fist, banging it on his skull or of course spewing a little Jose Tequila on stage, DVS is writing and programming music. Donnie recently was invited to reunite with legendary metal gods RIOT for a 20th Anniversary "ThunderSteel" Reunion Tour and C.D. DVS discography includes RIOT's "Thundersteel" and "Privilege Of Power"(CBS/Sony), "Blood Streets"(video), (Texas) Slayer's "Prepare To Die" and "Go For The Throat", Pitbull Daycare's "Six Six Sex", "Unclean" AND "You, Me and the Devil Make 3". DVS has appeared on MTV as well as Foxes "54321" and also had his songs "Buried Alive" (RIOT) featured in the Friday The 13th Series, "You Make Me Feel So Dead" (Pitbull Daycare)in the movies Scary Movie 4 and Saw, "My Own Man" (Pitbull Daycare)in an episode of CSI and "Blown" (FOS)in the MGM motion picture Disturbing Behavior. DVS believes in staying true to form, respect, honesty, never compromise creativity and remember.........Never Surrender!
