About Me

I feel like I should have lots of exciting stuff to fill this space with... but I don't. I'll just babble for a bit until I get bored. Born in Boston (yes- go Red Sox!), lived in Massachusetts for a few years, moved and grew up in Westport (oh joy) and recently got me a cute little place in Easton by my lonesome. Did the college thing, trying to figure out something to do with that piece of paper. Did the business degree because it seemed the most logical, not because I actually had a plan. Sorta wishing I had a plan now. :)I did a retail bank management program.... that was sorta like being in school again except this time I really didn't give a crap about what I was there for. Ruled out most of the financial world for me and sent me back to retail land until I figured out what was next. Now working for Unilever, love my job, love the people I work with and excited to see where my career goes next.I am not even close to being married. Just starting to get over the fact that people from high school are already married/ engaged. All happy thoughts for them but I am still trying to figure out if guys really exist for any other function besides video games and beer consumption. Nah, only kidding. I love beer. And guys. But why do they have to make girls more crazy than we already are?? I know what I'm looking for in these terms and it wont really involve beer or video games, it will involve men. :) Enough said about that, I think that explains my relationship status.I'm a complicated person and have reasons to be. I don't live in a fantasy world where I believe life is all good and easy, quite the opposite. But I do live for those rare good and easy times. I do think despite the bad, life can be and usually is happy.My friends are my everything and most of the time, pretty much the only people I have.I'm 25 and have no clue where my life is going. Although, I think I'm finally on a path of some sort. I guess I could have just said that. Oh well, now don't you feel like you really know all 'About Me'?

My Interests

Whatever it is I feel like doing but there are certain activities that are a pretty safe bet with me: seeing shows in the City (or locally), nice dinners, wine and good conversation, art, drinks with friends, watching TV seasons on DVD, relaxing at home watching movies, playing piano- basically relaxed social engagements. :)

I'd like to meet:

I don't really think about the people I would like to meet. I focus more on the people I have met. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Music:

I'll try anything. Current Pick: Ingrid Michaelson, The Weepies.

Movies:

This would be a long, boring list. Most recently watched favs: Shop Girl, High Fidelity, With Honors and any movie with Will Farrell.

Television:

Not reality shows. Grey's, The Office, House.

Books:

Again.... boring list. Although... it's been a month since I read something, that's really sad. Need to resolve that.

Heroes:

Oooooooooh, that depends on the day.
