Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0Born in Portland, Oregon in 1961, I am the oldest and only daughter to Richard Houston Morris Sr. and Shirley Jean Porter-Morris. I have a brother who is three years younger, Richard Houston Morris Jr. who lives in San Francisco California. I graduated from Patterson Co-op High School in 1979 with a certificate of completion in Graphic Design. I worked in the banking industry for eleven years before perusing my career in radio, which led to a career in Television. My first job in radio was with a country a music station as a late night board operator. I worked there for about six months before working for Education Management Group. They were pioneers in interactive education in the class room. After leaving the company in 1997; I went back to obtain an Associate Degree in Video Production at the The Art Institute of Phoenix. My first position after receiving my degree was working with at risk kids. I taught them the basics of video and film production. It is a pilot program that was to encourage youth who would not normally have the opportunity to be exposed to such programs as photography, graphic design, video and film production. After completing the program I worked for a CBS affiliate for five and half years in production, as a floor director and video commercial editor. Since my departure, I worked as an independent Producer and freelance video editor. I just completed my first independent feature film "Yesterday's Tomorrow" that is due to be release in the 2007. I'm currently producing an another independent feature called The Devil's Getting Busy.I love all types of music (of course my favorite is Gospel music), but I have an appreciation for all different types of music. I enjoy theatre, dance and singing, and of course movies. When I grow up I want to have my own production company. My goal is to Produce and Direct faith base independent feature films, music videos, documentaries and children programming, that will touch and inspire God’s people to have a abundant and prosperous life.

This Ebony and her shining moment behind the scenes. I think I was more happy about her being in the movie than she was. It was too much for her,she over heated at the end of the day and blew a gasket on the last day of production.
