Pese a su temible reputación sobre el escenario,
Williams mostraba en su vida personal una profunda devoción a la causa animal,
la cual incluía una dieta vegetariana y su trabajo rehabilitando animales salvajes,
siendo además activista por la comida natural;
incluso se la invitó al programa televisivo The Morning Show,
increpando públicamente a la empresaria Debbi Fields por usar demasiada azúcar refinada
en sus conocidas galletas "Mrs. Fields".
