About Me

I’ve been a musician all my life. I studied recording and voice performance at University of Massachusetts. After touring the US and Asia for several years, I landed in Providence, RI. I studied business administration at Bryant College, and spent a few years wasting away as a computer network engineer. Then, thankfully, I came to my senses and quit.

Now, I write music and record with my band, Most People. I started a local magazine called, Tweak Magazine, which I write for. (see my blogs). Finally, I run an entertainment and artist management group. We organize house music events, fashion shows and other happenings around New England.

I’m still trying to make it all work, but man it’s beats the cubicle.

Influences:
I'm personally influenced by many styles. I studied jazz and classical in college and have a deep appreciation and passion for the masters of both of those idioms. I'm a ridiculouly obsessed Pink Floyd fan. I'm only slightly less maniacal about Led Zeppelin and the Doors. Also, I manage DJs and produce house music events, and am in love with all house and techno genres. From progressive house, tribal, DNB, trance, to anything else you can think of. I grew up playing rock and metal, and it too is close to my heart. Later on I learned to appreciate pretty much everything... musicians like Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, Tori Amos, and Sarah MacLaughlin. Lately, I've been listening to Radiohead and Coldplay quite a bit.
Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Sting, Eagles, Sasha, Bonnie Raitt, Ani Difranco, Radiohead, Sander Kleinenberg, Tori Amos, The Doors, Steve Lawler, Sarah McLaughlin, Nick Drake, DJ Vibe, James Taylor, Parliament Funkadelic, Soundgarden, Van Halen, Dresden Dolls, Carey Bell, D:Fuse, Godsmack, Digweed, Rachmaninov, A Perfect Circle, Aerosmith, Lynryd Skynyrd, Steely Dan, Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, John Coltrane, Snoop, Hernan Cattaneo, Commodores, Prince, The Beatles, Plump DJs, Miles Davis, Bjork, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Otis Redding, Peter Gabriel, Alanis, Shryl Crow, Carl Cox, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Brahams, Herbie Hancock, Fleetwood Mac, U2, Robert Johnson, Paul Van Dyk, Deep Dish, Erick Morillo, The Who, David Bowie, Low End Specialists, Debussy, Notorious B.I.G., Dre, Elton John, Billy Joel, Liszt, AC/DC, Sly & the Family Stone, Christopher Lawrence, Max Graham, Pearl Jam, Mauro Picotto, Massive Attack, Kraftwerk, Armin Van Buren, Chemical Brothers, The Smiths, Eminem, Public Enemy, James Zabiela, Infusion, Allison Krauss, Gabriel & Dresden, Beck, Portishead, Jane's Addiction, Earth, Wind & Fire, Tiesto, Chopin, Chus and Ceballos, Ferry Corsten, Mark Farina
Sounds Like: It's hard to characterize our sound. It's a pop, funk, r&b, soul mix. I'll list a few artists we'd like to be confused with... lol -- Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai, Sheryl Crow, Alanis, Ani Difranco, Jonatha Brooke, Fiona Apple, Sarah MacLaughlin, and Coldplay.

A friend's suicide

A shot rings through the darkness, I'll not pretend to understand. Cold steel and vacant barrel, brings the ending you had planned. A brief sensation and then nothing Is what you have endured. ...

86 years and counting . . .

I am a Red Sox fan. It is a part of me as real as my flesh and blood. Before my first grade teacher asked me, Jim, what do you want to be when you grow up? I had already shed tears of both joy an...

The Morning After . . .

I had my thirty-third birthday this past summer. It's an interesting number. It speaks to the experiences that I've had. I've been fortunate. Music has afforded me the luxury of travel. The abilit...
