My mom had five kids before she met my pops & my pops had six kids before he met my mom. They both hooked up & this is what they made.Hpnotic was raised in a neighborhood called Creak Wood one of the worst projects in Wilmington North Carolina. Living in Creak Wood Hpnotic seen things that most kids couldn’t imagine. When Hpnotic was five years old he always dreamed of being in the entertainment world. It wasn’t until Hpnotic moved to the Washington DC metro area in 1994 where he would later discovered his music talent.In 2001, after the murder of one of his close friend, he chose to express himself through his rhymes. After being complimented on his freestyles, he chose to take rap serious.In 2003 when Hpnotic was seventeen years old he moved to Fayetteville North Carolina where he would later master his music craft. Working on his music career is a main thing that kept hpnotic out of trouble. I remember seeing the pain in my mother’s eyes every time she went to court with me or my other brothers. I did not want to put her in pain anymore. Troubles I had was in the streets. It wasn’t with the law anymore. I felt I could take care of my troubles in the streets but I could not take care of my troubles with the system.Hpnotic is without a doubt the future of hip hop. So you can say when it came to music I looked up to him. His life was cut short in February 2001. Not to long after his death I had a dream about him. In my dream he called me "Notic". So for sometime I was thinking why he called me Notic what the hell is a Notic & ect ya dig? Then this one night I happing to be out with my brother and we picked up one of our niggas and he was like "Aye Yo I Got This New Drink Call Hpnotiq". So when he said that and I heard "Notic". I went home and looked up the word Hypnotic and it said Inducing or tending to induce sleep. When I was in school I always said niggas don't want to battle me cause I put rappers to sleep. So to make a long story short I just ran with Hpnotic) There are a million rappers right now. Why should we be checking out Hpnotic? (I'm not them other rappers. I got my own style. Name one rapper I sound like. Things I rap about are what I do, done or will do. Its no game with me. This is as trill as it get's ya dig) What was your inspiration for the song "Dope Boy Look"? (The streets) How did you get to where you're at now? (Just trying to be on top of my grind & push it to the limit) How do you feel about other rappers? (They do them I do me.
