About Me

okay...i thought it was about time that i actually put something relevant into this thing! i'm rob, 26, originally from london via merthyr tydfil, currently living in swansea . i originally came to swansea in 98 for uni, after finishing that course (business/law) i worked for a couple of years then went to australia...and fell in love with the place, hopefully i'm going to move out there one day! then went back to uni to do a music tech degree. at the moment i suppose i'd have to say i'm a property developer (but it's just a one off)i'd like to think that i'm pretty laid back, been a vegetarian since i was about 19, absolutly love music from listening to creating...played in bands for many years but have had a break the last couple of years, hopefully getting back into it soon...prefer the finer things in life when they're avaliable but not adverse to slumming it! :) found the most awesome holiday on the net...going to south america and then on to the galapagos islands, and yes you can come aslong as long as your not a psyco. :)feel free to message me....more to follow at some point. fhup.com

Music:

i can't say it all in a paragraph! to be honest if it sounds good i'll listen to it, mainly into metal / grunge with some jazz and drum n bass...it's all good.mainly listening to deftones, ghostride, pitchshifter, fugazi, dj format, dj shadow, will haven, biffy clyro, mad capsule markets, silverchair, the dissociatives, death valley high, subfocus, tool, miocene, gilles peterson, far, institute, 65 Days of Static, Matisyahu(check out "king without a crown"), Taint, LCJ, Oddman, The Indomitable Iron Sloth, apc...there are alot more but i'm not listing them all.

Movies:

if it makes me laugh, think or smile i'll give it ago. can't be bothered to name hundrerds of cult/ classic films ......but Blue Juice is awesome.

Television:

Neighbours....thats all you need to know for now. also a big fan of Scrubs and Lost, anything by attenborough...everything he makes is awesome.

Books:

H.P. Lovecraft, Terry Pratchett, Bill Hicks etc etc. If i like it i like it, if i don't i don't. simple.

Heroes:

my parents...i couldn't ask for better, and the good friends that have been with me for a very long time.
