I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a webnerd with a penchant for silly fashion trends (or making my own?). I love Costco about as much as I love the doggy park but I don't go as much because they frown upon people oggling the goods and leaving without buying anything (at Costco, not the doggy park). I don't put much stock in being serious about life but I work as hard as I can and frequently find myself acting more serious than I feel. I love my cat as much as he loves to show me who's the boss. And I wake up early so our clients on the east coast can chat at me before lunch.

My Interests

Go, Computers, PHP, MySQL, Linux, Nalgenes, Fuzzy Things, Pants, Blankets, Techno, Cats, Flossing, Bowls, Servers, Project Management, Programming, Video Games, Exploring, Meat, Beer, Wine, Brewing, China, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Water, Full Spectrum Lights, Open Source, Free as in Speech, Software Patents, Wardriving, Dvorak, Esperanto, iBooks

I'd like to meet:

Wonderful, energetic, positive people that enjoy talking about words and acting silly but don't care about politics in the slightest. Perhaps someone in a co-op/commune that could tell me all about what it's like. Possibly a girl with an equally strange sense of fashion, or a boy really, that I could take to events and maybe take home and make out with (but that's pretty optional really.) People that can cook! People that like video games but also like to go out. Go players and people that inspire me to do greater things.

Mohawk

I woke up this morning with a raging headache and a mohawk, neither of which were a surprise to me in the slightest. What was surprising though was how pretty the world was today. Maybe it's the heada...

Aesop's Fables

Aesop has done me a good turn today I believe. I was considering living by myself in order to force myself to find more friends but after reading The Dog And The Bone I paused and thought about how I ...

Sock Demon

I've been thinking about the sock gremlins a lot lately and I've come to the only logical conclusion that there can be: It's a human. Maybe not _a_ human but there are probably relatively few sock thi...

Butter etc.

So a new discussion has erupted in the house as to whether it's appropriate to butter your toast by drapping the butter acress the surface or by using a knife. As always I'm on the side of, "Why not" ...

Eternity

For a long time I've wondered what the purpose of life is, what does anything matter if the human race is going to explode in a million years? But I hadn't noticed the hidden assumption in my argument:...

Kittens

So I've been spending a lot of time at the doggy park with Devrim lately, but as many of you know I'm not much of a dog person (okay, that's not true, I'm just much more of a cat person.) What I want ...

Pets and the theory of relativity.

Okay, I'll admit it; there really isn't going to be anything about the theory of relativity, general or special. I mostly just put that in there to get you to think about how they _could_ be related. ...

Stars

I found another program today that relies on the star concept from google. For those that don't already use gmail obsessively there is a button next to every email in the shape of a star. Once an emai...
