The story behind my name:My parents thought of naming me Candy when I born. They were trying to follow the Filipino trend that naming your kids after a fruit like Cherry and Apple was the coolest thing to do. But they were trying to be different and stayed away from the fruity names. Instead I was named Maita and years later I found out that I was actually named after a Filipino pornstar. I thought about what would be worst, ending up with a ditzy, non-fruity, pornstar name, or actually being named after a real pornstar and mistake your name after a small, ass Mazda coupe. I'd prefer the real pornstar name.The name game:My name is spelled M A I T A People often mistake my name for a freaking, small ass car called "MAZDA MIATA".
My name is closely related to the lovely, tangy alcoholic beverage called, " MAI TAI"
The Bally's Fitness Rep misspelled my name to MAITIA and I became Black when I joined for a 30 day membershipMy Friends, Starbucks, my cousins, and music are what fuels me daily.
