I've been in Cincinnati for about 4 years now. I was previously in Minneapolis for about 5 years. I've pretty much been in the Midwest my whole life. However, I do love to travel and see the rest of the world when I can.
By day, I'm a shirt-and-tie guy, managing a print center near the UC campus. I went to school for Visual Communications, so I occasionally dabble in designing print and multimedia projects. I'm a Freemason and member of the Scottish Rite. I also have some experience with Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu. According to Myers-Briggs, I'm an INTJ. This means that I always stirve to do my best and learn the most, while acknowledging that there's always room for improvement. Guess that makes me a perfectionist.
I'd consider myself an individual. I don't really fall into one clique or associate with one kind of person. I believe there are a lot of very interesting people in the world with a lot of beneficial things to share, if you put aside your prejudices and open up your mind.
In the past few years, I've become a pretty spritual person. I don't believe salvation lies in giving lip-service prayers and parking my butt on a wooden bench every Sunday listening to some sweaty Evangelist tell me stories of "fire and brimstone." So, I decided to go down my own spriritual path. I study Qabalah along other aspects and systems of Hermetic philosophy. I've also began studying Eastern Yogi techniques such as Kundalini yoga. The core of my philosophy is pretty simple, you don't need to pray to G_d because the power and potential for anything you want has already been given to you. All you have to do is believe it and achieve it! And, of course, don't forget to acknowledge and thank your creator every now-and-then.
When I'm not working or studying, you can probably find me hanging out with my friends, doing anything from catching flicks, to going out to bars, clubs, or concerts or wherever else we may end up. No matter where I'm at, I try to make the most of it and have a good time.
