the concept of 'MISS T & THE JAPANESE TOURIST'S' is based on the idea of pure entertainment & escapism -'let me take you on a trip'. it is our destiny to create a new dimension, a fresh perspective and a completely off the wall genre. you will know that you have just experienced MISS T & THE JT'S once the show is over.

it's about fun, craziness, darkness, dirty rock 'n roll, faeries, goblins, fantastical outfits & big hair! back to the basics of just having a good time - and so far we definitely seem to be hitting the spot!

Influences: well if it were up to me we would most certainly sound like some 80's band you had definitely heard before..... good thing we have three other extremely passionate individuals who have very strong influences in other eras! Music we love to listen to - depeche mode, leonard cohen, the cure, siouxsie & the banshees, pj harvey, the stone roses, smashing pumpkins, interpol, joy division, the smiths, aha (yes, yes i know....), kate bush, placebo, tom waitts, nick cave & the bad seeds, billy idol, patti smith, morrissey, echo & the bunny men, jesus & mary chain, new order, house of love, love & rockets, jane's addiction, mazzy star, shakespeare sister, the kills, the cardigans, hole, sonic youth, pixies, marilyn manson, karma, lloyd cole, rolling stones, radiohead, fleetwood mac, arcade fire, the strokes, client, the killers, talk talk, sigor ros, mum, yeah yeah yeahs, bloc party, editors, special needs, the killers etc.....
