From the Black Jacks to Quarrymen to the Silver Beetles. The Beatles catapulted their way to stardom with their first Hit that was included in Britain's TOP 50 which was LOVE ME DO! IN 1962 HIT THE NO.17 spot. after this THE BEATLES became a worldwide phenomenon! then came the release of their first album PLEASE PLEASE ME which hit the no.1 spot in the U.K. Charts! Little did the fab four know that their legions of fans is multiplying rapidly! Amidst the death of the original member and their close friend Stuart Sutclife who died of Brain Hemorage, the band was on their way to FAME and brought in a replacement for Pete Best. They brought in Richard Starkey a.k.a. Ringo Starr, who at that time was also a drummer of the RORY STORM and the HURRICANES. at first he was a temporary sub for Pete. But later on the management gave the spot to Ringo and he joined for Good! they were such a BIG HIT in U.K. that they were asked to perform at THE ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE before Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth! after that their schedule became a hectic routine! T.V. appearances, concerts, studio recordings, press cons and also came the release of their New film A HARD DAYS NIGHT they were a Big Hit in U.K. The Phenomenon spread Across America!In 1965 THE BEATLES payed Uncle Sam a visit. and they were warmly greeted by swooning, screaming fans! Soon they conquered the world From EUROPE and across ASIA including the Philippines! their last Concert was in 1966 it was held at Candlestick park in San Francisco, USA. After the pandemonium the Beatles took a month long hiatus from the tedious concert routines they hence they opted to stay in Recording studios to make more songs. the music of the Beatles have grown which is evidently heard on their release of Rubber Soul and Revolver. after which came the release of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, this album gave the Beatles a new image and added a New flavor to their context of ROCK!! They then ventured into the reel scene for the third time with their release of MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR(second was HELP and the fourth was their first full- length animated flick YELLOW SUBMARINE) which was also the title of their Album. Then came the spirtually influenced album, simply titled The White Album. during their sabbatical months the Beatles went to india to meet Maharishi. The White Album contains some songs that conveys the Beatles soul searching experience during their Brief visit in India. ABBEY ROAD, which was the road where the recording studio was located, was the title of their next LP. This time George Harrison had two cuts on the Album the Album was followed by THE BEATLES AGAIN which featured the 7 minute hit HEY JUDE! Things weren't going well for the group that time. Ringo Starr often called and report that he was sick and George would simply go weary of the routines, meeting up at the recording studio and just sitting their waiting to be cued. John and Paul, were having a small feud. John's is getting tired up Paul's bossy attitude while Paul finds the presence of Yoko Ono, John's new wife, adds Friction to the group.LET IT BE which was their Last Album, wouldn't be possible without the help of Arranger Phil Spector. they even released LET IT BE as a documentary film. It depicted that the group was really having a hard time and they held their last public performance at the rooftop of Apple studios. in an open letter to the public dated April 10, 1970 Paul McCartney calls it quits. the letter contains McCartney withdrawing from the Beatles fan club and from the band.. The Beatles lasted f0r 13 years..John said " you might say we're lucky and bigheaded if we could last for ten years" as Fred Savage said "some people said that the BEATLES wouldn't last... they were right but they did! Up to now the Beatles, thru their Music, touches the most sensitive chords and the lives of each and every individual! LONG LIVE THE FAB FOUR!!!
