About Me

Background: Cardiac Has been DJing in East London for over 8 years, having spun at major hotspots including Fabric, Turnmills, and 333 club. His collective hosted Mooch rooms at www.Hoxtonpimps.com clubnights, performing mammouth 6-hour DJ sets at these underground parties, alongside the likes of Attica Blues, Fat Truckers, Roots Manuva.1999: Drum and Bass DJ set at 200% Tripaller infekt, Dresden Germany.2001: Promoter of regular clubnight Mooch at Bar Cocomo, co-promoter of various other DJ nights in bars around East London.2005: DJ set alongside Radioactive Man at Shifty@ on the Rocks, London. www.shifty.org.uk for details.Cardiac started producing tunes at the tender age of 12, creating multi-track style recordings of his cheap casio keyboard using two tape recorders. Later on came sampling using a special alarm clock, and making tape loops from cassettes. The second phase consisted of simple loop-based music made with a Yamaha QY70, leading to the current phase of music-making, based around laptop computer.Now living in Leicester Cardiac continues to forge forward with his production skills creating innovative far reaching beats.The next wave of Cardiac activity is now in the planning and booking stage so keep an eye out for Cardiac DJing / live performance in a venue near you soon!
