NekJerka {$UPER PRODUCER}

NekJerka hails from the streets of St. Louis, Mo. He started out his musical journey at the age of 5, when he was given a small keyboard and an acoustic guitar to nurture his GOD given talent of "rhythm & melody. His father played a little guitar and showed him a few chords, but GOD gave him a serious musical "ear" that allowed him to be able to hear music and to be able to pick up an instrument and re-create the same chords and melodys! Armed with this talent, he taught himself to play the drums and in the 6th grade he entered the school band as Lead Drummer! He began to compose his own music and lyrics, playing all of the instruments. In his freshman yr of high school, he formed his own band and honed his skills as a MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST for the next few years. Even as he played many "club/high school dates(proms & dances)", his production prowess began emerge and he left the "live" music circuit to devote his career to writing and producing. As everyone has heard the term "struggling musician", he was no stranger to that world, and even though he was making hot music, he was always hearing empty promises from music industry figures, especially the "crooked" ones. This forced him to find other methods of supporting hisself. Confronted with this delima and not neccasarily keen on the idea of "lockdown", he began working as a recording engineer to survive, while producing on the side. Over the past years NekJerka has worked with many R&B as well as rap artists, and his production skills are equally at home producing either genre. Whereas many "so-called" producers can make beats, but lack the abilities to fully "produce" the vocals, especially in R&B, NekJerka completely produces everything that he touches, giving you a "commercially viable product." NekJerka, in conjuction with a business partner, has formed an entertainment company in St. Louis called UNIMIND MUSIC GROUP, LLC. "UMG, LLC" currently has a small number of artists under developement. Along with running "UMG, LLC" NekJerka is producing a number of up and coming artists(RAP & R&B), whereas he recently finished production on ZENRA RECORDING ARTIST "C-DASH", who recently graced the BILLBOARD TOP 100 SINGLES CHART and is currently in the studio producing NIKKO from American Idol. NekJerka is here to make ya neck jerk!!
