From the earliest of ages Jules found himself drawn to the arts (pun intended). After attending school in Philly for a bit he realized his artistic voice was not going to be found in a school. After a breif stint in the world of stand up comedy Jules decided to go with what was natural. Art. IN the early 90s his pencil had a serious following in the LA club scene rocking posters , fliers etc for some the biggest names in underground hip hop today. NIke soon took notice and moved his high yellow ass up to Oregon where Jules proceeded to set high standards within the graphic arts world bridging the gap between street art and the commercial niche that was being overlooked.
Nike, adidas, converse, avia, are just afew names that was sniffin around the candy store.Fast forward a few years and we find Jules on a bathroom floor have a grand mal-seizure. This horrific event was a turning point in the life of Jules Demetrius. These seizures for some reason cuased him to pick up a paint brush and what seemed like years of backed up imagery vomitted out of his right hand. He admits to being a VERY different man before and after the seizures. " Most of my friends now probably wouldnt be my friends if i had not had those things [seizures]"Fast forward a bit more and find JD rockin gallery shows with the likes of Jason Rudoplph Pena ( who is also working w/ Jules in the 2 man M1NUTM3N art hub) Adam dumper-foo, Xappa, Jes Jordan, Scott Osteen, Glen Allen, Sterling Bartlett, Josh Rhodes, Adam Wheeler, Zokes, Breeze, CLay elliot, Steiner and Lalo just to name drop a few!!!Now Jules splits his time with graphic design, and tryin to find something weird to paint on and raising his
daughters, Akira Isabeela 5 and Sasha Halo 2.5! HIs other daughter Ernestine RIley lives in Oregon, with her amzing beautiful mother Julie... Riley is almost 9.
