TIM: I helped an old Chinese lady across the street today.
ZOE:I pretty much like animals more than I like people. People can be mean. They cut me off on the freeway, they blow their noses in public, they shoot at each other, they go to war, they wear white shoes after labor day. Not everyone is bad. I'll give some of you credit. I have dogs. I'm not bringing any more humans into the world. Children are too expensive and I tend to be selfish. You think I sound bitter? Well, I'm not. I have my furry little family and that's all I need. That and a nice pair of slippers. And maybe a couple of warm cookies.Seriously...The thing is, it's hard to have a few good people in your life. It's impossible to have a lot of good people in your life. I'm lucky to have a few. The reality is that I've been burned enough to know better, but getting burned also lets me truly appreciate the people I have around me. Does that make sense?Anyhow, for anyone who really knows me, I should just let y'all know that I'm still cancer free from by little battle back in '03-'04. Just thought I'd throw that in just in case I haven't talked to you for a while. Oh, and my hair is finally long again!
