My love of music is as varied as you might expect from a former college music major. As I have said above, I love the music of MercyMe as well as many Contemporary Christian acts. I have always loved what is now known as "classic" rock, but when I first found it, it was just known simply as "rock". I love country music....well at least "again". Country goes thru its ups and downs with me. I have found some ups lately like Sugarland, Little Big Town, Nickle Creek, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans and Ashley Rose.
I love war and political movies. Patton, Tora Tora Tora, Saving Private Ryan....or All The President's Men, Thirteen Days, Good Night and Good Luck, JFK.My newest favorite is The Da Vinci Code! What a great "popcorn" movie!I also love a good romantic comedy (chick flicks)or good comedies...The Jerk comes to mind
DEAL OR NO DEAL!!! Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, Law and Order CI for starters! Desperate Housewives (see "I'd like to meet"). Grey's Anatomy. Crossing Jordan. West Wing when it was on. Antiques Road Show.
The Da Vinci Code, The Bible, Conservatives Without Consciences by John Dean, anything by Bob Woodward, My Life by Bill Clinton, anything by Jimmy Carter.
My Daddy. Taught me everything a man needs to know in life...unfortunately it all didn't take. He proved that "any one can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Daddy". Plus, he was wounded in Normandy during WWII. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart, so he was a real hero also.My Granddaddy (Mama's step-father), who never had a natural child of his own, but was probably the greatest granddaddy to ever live.John F. Kennedy. Taught this babyboomer what it meant to take freedoms and civil rights seriously, and nothing for granted.Lyndon B. Johnson. Great Texan!Last but definitely not least. My wife! Takes a hero to put up with someone like me!!
