A principios de 2004 en RubÃ, Catalunya nace Silence Equals Death. Los primeros temas compuestos reflejaban un carácter más hardcore que el sonido actual del grupo, cuya tendencia natural es decantarse hacia sonidos más oscuros y pesados. Después de estar unos años tocando en salas pequeñas y adquiriendo experiencia, deciden en el 2007 comenzar a grabar los temas que conformaban su repertorio de directo, una experiencia que sin duda acabarÃa de consolidar los objetivos del grupo para el futuro. The Decline es la carta de presentación de esta formación del Vallès, temas ágiles donde convergen desde el metal más agresivo hasta el stoner-rock. Actualmente están haciendo conciertos por Catalunya y trabajando en nuevas canciones para consolidarse como grupo y empezar a crecer.
Silence equals Death was born in Rubi in 2004. The first songs had a strong hardcore influences than nowadays, that the band's sound is more dark & loud. After few years playing little shows and getting some experience, in 2007 they started to record the live tracks, an experiencie that consolidate the future targets of the band. The Decline is the first album and demonstration of the band, "agile" tracks where it converges agressive metal and stoner-rock. Today they're cooking new songs and making shows to start to grow.
