J.D.Silver are recording artist from the Western New York and Buffalo area. Numerous guest artists who have performed both locally and with national acts have performed on the CD, which was released December of 2005. Each song on the CD has a unique sound from a hard driving southern blues harmonica, to a fifties guitar melody song as a tribute to Chuck Berry, to the soft unique sound of acoustics and a flute. Receiving a numerous amount of recognition and air play in Europe and especially France, if you are interested in returning to the sounds of real rock with today’s music in mind then J.D. Silver's 'Love Is Not Forever 'is the CD for you. Incorporating such a wide variety of styles this CD has got to be heard!

The J.D.Silver band consists of four members Jim Bordo, Joy Marie, Don Skotty and Mikey T.
Jim “Bordo†provides the solid rhythm guitar and vocals. His unique touch adds feel and his sweet melody lines always seem to be added in just the right places.
Joy Marie, Bass Guitar also a member of the Pride and Joy Band, Joy provides a bass sound that can vary from a rocking, kicking sound to the nice gentle bass precision lines required in today’s music. Joy also does a large share of the vocals.
Don “Skotty†, lays down the lead guitar tracks and additional rhythms as well as most of the lead vocal tracks. Don also plays the sax and harmonica. His past experience from working with national recording acts and being on tour has determined the direction and sound of J.D.Silver.
Mike “ Mikey T†Drums and vocals, previously with the Band Switch 86, the words powerful with a extraordinary sense of timing and feel are the words that best describe Mikey and his drumming.
Numerous local and national artists with ties to the Western New York area have performed on the CD and occasionally tour with J.D. Silver. Paul owner of the nationally known Buffalo Drum Outlet has performed all drum tracks on the latest CD. Paul and Don have been friends and worked together over the past twenty years! Some of the other performers who have worked with J.D.Silver and have appeared on the 'Love is Not Forever ' CD have included Ken ( Flutist) whose Outerlimit Recording Studio appeared in Eminem's video shoot, Vocalist Holly Jones from the Afterforever band, Wild Bill whose bluesy harp can be heard on Engine 38, and Tim M. of The Corrections
The tour dates mostly in the summer and fall mainly focus on large festivals, college gigs and appearing with national acts.
