I have 4 kids, and they are the coolest. They are the center of my life. Most of all, they keep their Mother's feet on the ground....I'd be nothing without them and I hope they will all grow up to be as beautiful of people as they are now. My mom always told me..."Raise children that you would enjoy hanging out with when they're adults." and I totally believe it to be true. I like to be outside.....don't much like winter because it's tooooo cold....mainly I don't like to drive in the winter, that's the scariest thing for me. I'm not goin' out that way!!! I also like movies, and music, music....music!!! it seems I always have to be hearing some type of music. Ok, not always....it's nice to just listen to the silence once in a while. I like walking in the woods.....walking through fields....picking flowers....collecting leaves...finding cool rocks.....hanging out with my kids at the library (yeh, we're geeks...) going to the park with the kids....and I really enjoy sewing. Guess that's why I love my job so much. I don't really watch alot of tv, mainly I catch the cartoons when they're on, which is almost ALL the time!! I really like going to the movies.....I like to cook....I have alot of secret family recipes...hehe. I like to garden, and I really like the flowers that grow at my shop. They're all perennials, so I don't have to mess with them too much, which is a good thing because this time of year I simply don't have the time. It'd probably be a good thing to come up with some extra time....gardening is pretty relaxing.
Neil Finn, Adam Ant, Madonna, Morrissey, Simon LeBon, Sting, Dave Matthews, and the Queen of England. (hey, we could compare princess toes....if you don't know what THAT is.....that'd be cuz you're not royal....neener.) :P
I like a lot of old stuff......I like a lot of new stuff too, but most of the time I don't really know who the band is. Guess that would be me, being "uncool"....heh. I like a lot of cheesy 80's stuff, cuz it's good to stay in touch with your youth, to some extent. And by cheesy 80's stuff, I don't mean the REALLY cheesy stuff......but sometimes that's good for a laugh. some favorites of mine include: Phish, Widespread Panic, moe., Dave Matthews Band, Gorillaz, Crowded House, Neil Finn, Led Zeppelin, Bauhaus/Peter Murphy/Love and Rockets, the Cure, the Pixies, etc. etc. etc........oh yeh, and I highly recommend you see the Pixies if you ever get another chance. It was the loudest, coolest show I've ever been to, and I'm thankful for the slight loss of hearing. There's no better way. Some other music I like: Ween, the Stone Roses, the Ocean Blue, Sufjan Stevens, Pete Yorn, Luka Bloom, Morphine, the Smiths, Morrissey, Beastie Boys, the Sundays, U2, The The, Simple Minds, Counting Crows, Yaz, Beck, Incubus, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, The Grateful Dead, Peter Gabriel, Smashing Pumpkins, the Police/Sting, REM, Siouxsie and the Banshees, David Bowie, Talk Talk, and I could really just go on and on and on. Really.
Legend, Amadeus, the Piano, the Song Remains the Same, Braveheart, Marie Antoinette, Pretty in Pink, the Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, James and the Giant Peach, the Nightmare Before Christmas....and anything else that's good, I suppose.
Television rots the mind and promotes illiteracy.....although I do love LoVe LOOOOOVE Project Runway....and Dr. Who...ooooOOOOOoooooooo....lol
I love to read.....I'm a huge geek in that way....the library is the coolest place!!! Also......it keeps me from thinking too much.
