About Me

I moved to Tampa about a year ago. I lived in Maryland most of my life and moved here to expand my horizons, and get away from gray, rainy, cold winters. I'm sorry but gray sky's can make even the happiest of people sad. So far I love it! No more cold weather and snow (unless a want to ski, then I go to wherever the snow is!) I like to experience new things and have a whole new city to do it in, Baltimore was fun, but it got old, and way to cold in the winter. I want to meet some new people who know how to have a good time, but have a good head on their shoulders. I work seven days a week, but when I do go out I do it up right. Through a dinner in the middle of the week, or happy hour is when I have most of my fun. I may work a lot, but when I do take off I always go somewhere, or do something fun. No just sitting sround the house for me.

My Interests

I love art, but I am not the artsy fartsy type. My friend and I were the most un-art looking art students ever. I also really like to ride horses, it was my "sport" growing up. I love to cook, I would be a chef if I could. Maybe one day. One last thing, I love to play the piano. I took lessons for 13 years, so I can play some piano. One more thing, I love to lay out in the sun like a lizard. The beaches here are so much better than MD and closer.

I'd like to meet:

Really I just want to meet cool people. Bars are really not the place to meet people anymore. By the time I get there they are either really drunk or really young. No offence to you younger guys, but I am almost 30 now. Not to say I would rule you out, but you really have to impress me, more with your brain then looks. As far as meeting girls, you can never have too many girl friends. I have made a few great girl friends, but our schedules clash since I work 9-5 and they work in the hospitality business. I need some people for happy hour or dinner. Most of my free time is after work durning the week. Who else are we going to talk to you crazy guys about?

Music:

I listen to most everything. I think that dance music really is my fav. At work I design art all day and this music keeps me going. I sit in the dark with the light of my computer and turn up the club music and rock out. I just know how complex some of the songs are, (since I know how to edit sound) so may different layers of sound. I love Deep Dish, and Ultra has put out some good stuff. There are a ton more I like, but Not so mch a fan of country, but my little sis is and she lives with me, so I end up knowing the songs anyway.

Movies:

Anything 3d or with really good effects. I like the independant stuff too, they are usually really artistic. No scary movies though. I get scared!!

Television:

I will admit it, I am a reality tv junkie, but I don't like the road rules stuff. I also really like prison break and the OC.

Books:

I don't read often anymore, I think it is because for a year and a half I worked as a supervisor at a book publishing company and I got to read all the manuscripts that me department wanted to reject, just to make sure they were that bad. Let me tell you, I read aome really crappy stuff. I like to read philosophy, or art history books, but most of all I like fiction books with lots of drama, but its better when they are funny. They just make me smile

Heroes:

My parents!! They had nothing growing up, and they worked really hard, now they have everything they want and need. My parents are the best parents I could ever ask for.
