About Me

Chassis was founded in 1999 in Gdansk, Poland. From that time band has already played many concerts, small gigs for several and big shows for thousands of people. Music played by Chassis is some kind of hard rock. Because of many different opinions it is hard to be objective in that matter. It is said, that where Chassis is, you can find low-tuned guitars, groovy bass, expressive drums, and a really excellent and dynamic show.
In 2002 Chassis got into Radio Gdansk Studio where they recorded a demo CD containing five songs. After that band decided to search for it’s own style in the hard rock music. During this searching time guys made nine songs and decided to make their first album. They had so many ideas and after first session they recorded four songs more. On 24 february 2005 debut album ’wHywerolL’ was released by 3pm.pl – an independent internet music label. One year after self-released CD version finally hit the earth. One song of the album – ’There’s a Place’ came very popular in band’s hometown and got second place of the whole year summary chart in the most popular regional station Radio Gdansk! Chassis beat many pop singers and famous bands except one. Other song and a video clip ’My Way’ was played in the radio and TV stations across Poland.
The 2006 year was crucial for the band – some rehearsals after recording demo versions of second album, former drummer Tomasz ’Jakobs’ Kiczorowski and guitarist Pawel ’Pablo’ Jelionek left the band for personal reasons. For the first time Chassis had to search for new members. After some months and cooperation with live session musicans Chassis officially presented new people in band – drummer Artur ’Gaj’ Osko known best from Angor, Bad Taste and Arek ’Mlody’ Bogaj. But after a year of cooperation, these new members were replaced by Maciej Konczak and Maciej ’Bully’ Bulinski. At the beginning of 2008 Chassis is concentrating on live performance and prepares to record the second album to be released in fall 2008.
Piooro and Bully are also members of experimental fusion band with 3 bass guitars - Be3. They started in the middle of 2007 and already shared stages with Stu Hamm, Marcus Miller, Alain Caron, Matthew Garrison, Wojtek Pilichowski at several European musical events!
