It was like in Tolkien's Silmarillion - at the very beginning there was music...
It's been surrounding me ever since... I remember one of the b/w photo that my father took in my early days: 4-year-old kid with headphones in a small apartment shared with my parents and sis, pretending to play the guitar... This picture was like a prophecy as I knew it from the very start and felt it in my blood, flesh and bones - I WILL PLAY THE GUITAR!
I grew up, many things changed and I'm not as sweet and polite as I used to be, but one thing remain unchanged - my love and passion for music.
I play the guitar for more than 15 years, I've heard thousands of fantastic albums (no matter the genre was), I play in a band and work for the biggest Polish guitar & basses manufacturer - Mayones Guitars & Basses(if you look for something different and unique, definitelly check them out) - it seems that I found heaven on Earth, doesn't it. ;-)
What else... oh yes - YACHTING!!! The first time I put my feet on the deck around 14 years ago I immediatelly fell in love with the unbelivable freedom it gives, with blowing winds and drops of water splashed into my face, ropes cutting your tired hands... There's nothing else in this World that could calm me down so easily and so quickly... 4 days trip means more than 3 weeks off work spent travelling... But... there's one thing that could be better - ICE YACHTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dream about this for so damn long but thick ice is necessary so I think I need to wait for a bit more... DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!! But imagine - going 70km/h just 40cm above the ice... Sounds cool huh?
Want something more? Wine... I love it... I adore it... If for some reason I could not drink it, I would buy loads of wine bottles just to look at it in the glass and smell its incredible scent... I wish I could share a bottle with you, whoever you are (I hope you are fit, intelligent, long-legged, sex-loving, emotionally aware Woman of my dreams... You're not? well... I think we can handle that anyway...)
Some of you may also know that I LOVE Belgian beers and Belgium itself... Considering the beers, it's quite obvious why - they're just delicious :-] Why Belgium? Don't know... Maybe some reminisce of the past, friendly people I met, Graspop Metal Meeting... There's something special about this place that makes the inner bell ringing...
I love books, movies, strawberies, cats and cat-like ladies, biking, walking by the sea shore, wandering in the woods, meeting old and new friends... did I mention playing the guitar before? No? How could I forget...
