MyGen Profile Generator ********** 2007 has begun. This is going to be a good year for us. We've finally left Korea after being there longer than anyone would have hoped (or feared, some days) and we're now in our own house, which was built last fall. We've started entirely new lives and we're even added someone very special to our family. I've been married to Joe for four years. Things are going very well for us. We were together for six years last summer. He's from New Zealand, but I don't hold it against him.

I have applied to go back to school in September to study social work, so I'm going to be on pins and needles until I hear. I'm not very patient with "life-hanging-in-the-balance" type stuff. I can wait in line at the bank for half an hour, though.

This is me doing ballet. I studied ballet for almost a year in 2005 & just got back into it this winter! ♥ In our basement/gym I hope to eventually have a barre .

Is it just me- or is South Park a million times funnier now? I'm a huge Little Britain fan. If you don't know this show, find it, watch it and laugh. The Simpsons, all the CSIs, Kath & Kim, The Office, Six Feet Under, The Practice, King of the Hill, The Family Guy, That 70's Show, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Jamie's Kitchen, The L-Word, The Biggest Loser. I will eat up any reality crap that tv serves up. I don't know why, but I love it. Amish in the City was a new discovery recently.

Books:

Favourite authors in particular order: Douglas Coupland, Augusten Burroughs, Amy Tan, Irvine Welsh, Banana Yoshimoto. I also like Joanne Harris, Sue Townsend, Kim Wong Keltner, the Harry Potter books, Memoirs of a Geisha, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time was completely and totally amazing. You should read it.

Heroes:

I don't have a lot of heroes. I guess my mother and step-father are both inspirations for different reasons. I gain my strength from myself, mostly. Oh!! And my sister and her platypus.
