i have begun to see that i am going to be a part of the new revolution in music, and subsequently the same in art in america as well. i have realized that much of this country confuses art with entertainment, and does many an injustice to both in the process. art should be, at it's core, the freedom to express things that you feel in your soul that are simply far too complex to be understood using simple linguistics. but because this society places such an emphasis on quantification and competition, let alone money being added to the equation, the results are often watered down versions of what merely art whispers of. and because of these evident pervasive attitudes in this country, i firmly believe that a revolution of sorts is in the works, and i intend to have my name on it somewhere. it is my goal to help bring upon a modern renaissance to this part of the world, showing all that have artistic ability that we need not whore our talents for the purpose of business and entertainment. there are much bigger things in life to spend time thinking about. and in that notion it becomes crystal clear that this country has a lot of thinking to do. our brains are being severly under used, and this shall be a way to make up for some lost time. thinking should not be a means of the past, and i strongly believe that time will prove to us that it is indeed all we have. so to those of you who are on board and are tired of coasting through, pick up a paint brush or an instrument or whatever stirs the truth in your soul and get crackin'. we have a long way to go, and there is little time to waste. godspeed.***************************************************
