About Me

I am generally a quiet person, who likes to read books and/or fiddle around (but silently, mind you). This is less so if I actually know you, but then, what are the chances of that (statistically speaking)? I prefer night to day, but have no good reason why. I prefer being around a few close friends rather than a number of people, but either will do. I have told people before that I aim to please, and this is so most of the time. If you put music on, I WILL dance.Oh yeah, and these (all-important) things:1) I am a big nerd2) Deep in my solar plexus sits an old man in a disheveled grey suit, nursing ten-cent coffees in a series of all-night cafeterias. Fluorescent lighting hums tiresomely around the benches and chairs. The old man coughs and returns to his newspaper.

My Interests

I enjoy cooking, drawing and painting, dance parties (particularly those deceptively pathetic-looking ones of 5 or 6 people), and outdoor games like kick the can and capture the flag, so I suppose these are "interests" of mine. More accurately, I am interested in mid-20th century European culture, continental philosophy, how best to start a grill, other people, the future of the proletariat, the history of British punk rock, and hats. Oh yes, now also Earthdawn (see point 1 in the About Me section).

I'd like to meet:

People with cats. I am too lazy to get one myself, but I love playing with them.
