What makes a man?
Is he more then blood, flesh and bone? The sum of all his parts?
Is it the choices he makes? Those he chooses to love?
Am I special, More than mortal man?
I choose to think so...
Myth and legend, Varjo was once an angel, who resided in the choir of the Dominions, the second highest of the choirs. Until one fateful day that sparked a war. All were called to arms, but Varjo(who was unable to raise steel against his brothers) was cast out alongside them. After a few Millenia of wandering, Varjo settled in Rome, whose decadance agreed with Varjo well. But all things must end and Rome eventually fell. So Varjo headed to the Northlands and sailed with the Vikings. But after 600 years of wanderlust, he decieded to take it easy for a while, and setteled down to learn the arcane arts. Eventually the trail runs cold, which will lead some to believe that Varjo never existed. But even today, When the night is cold and moonless, you can still hear his wings flapping overhead, If your fourtunate enough.
