Suit Up!!!

About Me

I moved to LA from Northern California about a 6 years ago. I have to say I am having a great time here in my new home. But it does help to have so many of my good, close friends here to do it all with me. I'm now a Co-Producer and the editor on a TV Magazine show called Made in Hollywood Check it out on KCAL 9 Saturday afternoons at 4pm. I am also part owner in a company called 'Active Submissions' where we help actors and actresses get all there materials together for their reel. from there clips to there headshots to a online profile containing all of these things, we are a one stop shop for actors!
Why did you move to LA you ask? Well, I want to write and direct one movie. That's my goal. Just one, that's all. Whatever happens after that, happens. It shouldn't be that difficult, right? We'll see if this crazy town will let me reach that ultimate dream.

Music:

What can you say about it? Its the soundtrack to our lives. It makes you feel happy and sad, it helps you when you've been heartbroken, or lifts you up higher than you've ever been before. l have way to many different musical tastes to list them all here. But I really just like it all.

Movies:

Monsters Ball, American Beauty, The Breakfast Club, Napoleon Dynamite, Sixteen Candles, The Matrix trilogy (yes all three), Ferris Beullers Day Off, On Golden Pond, The Dark Crystal, Almost Famous, The Yards, Beat Street, Midnight Madness, Terms of Endearment, The Karate Kid, Weird Science, Star Wars, 9 to 5, Breakfast at Tiffanys. Theres way to many to name, I love movies, thats why I'm here, In LA to try and make movies.

Television:

Well, I have to change what I have written in here, cause I found a new favorite TV show. How I met your Mother, is one of the best sitcoms I have seen in a LONG time. The cast's timing with each other is impecable. And the way the show is brilliantly put together, its all completly out of order. But all makes perfect sense by the end of the show. See, It takes place in the future....2030 to be exact. And Ted Mosby (done in voiceover by Bob Saget) is telling his kids a story of how he met their Mother in retrospect, back till now 2006. But the show jumps ALL over the place, from 2030 till current times to back into the 80's. Its just simply LEGENDARY!
Check out Robins secret from the episode "Slap Bet"
The last REALLY good drama on television I saw on TV was 'American Dreams'. Cancelled at the end of it's third season, it was a directing and editing masterpiece each and every week. The intermix of the original 'American Bandstand' footage into the life and times of the 1960's, was absolutly amazing.
Another favorite is '24'. amazing writing and action sequences make this show. the cliffhangers at the end of each hour, blow your mind and leave you wanting more from the next episode.
The animation greats that are out right now, Family Guy, Robot Chicken and South Park. Cartoons ROCK! Especially potty mouthed little 8 year olds from Colorado!
last but not least 'Entourage'. following the life of an 'on the rise' movie star, is a guilty pleasure of mine. Who wouldn't want to be living the life of 'Vincent Chase'?
