About Me

I guess you can say I am a kind of "been there done that" kind of guy. I have played metal music in my band, performed live and written music. I have recorded jazz in my youth as a trumpet player. I have hiked the Badlands and Black Hills. I have petted a wild wolf and came face to face not only with a bear but a buffalo as well. I drove a racecar at speeds exceeding 160mph. I drag raced throughout my younger years tearing up the streets of Chicago really pissing off cops on Archer Ave and Marquette Park. I have seen the great land called Alaska. I have had my heart broken and mended as well. My life is like a drama play, sort of a movie for a feeble mind. I have made many friends along this journey called life but can count the true ones on my bear paw of a hand. I enjoy being who I am. Yes I can be on the freaky side but that is the spice of life. I like to laugh, sleep and enjoy a fine wine or whiskey now and then. My world now moves at a slower pace, I am a dad to a wonderful little girl named Abby. However don't underestimate the wants and needs of a man who has been in a midlife crisis since the age of twelve. My Interests

Racing, Indycar and Nascar. That is my passion. Photography! I like to take pictures of "stuff" I am a White Sox fan and a former Dallas Cowboys fan. Thanks for screwin that up T.O. I enjoy fishing, camping and going to the gym. I am a strong advocate of animal rights and am very upset about all the cruelty that takes place on a daily basis, see the seal pictures. I like hard rock or "metal" music. I guess you can say I like loud guns and sharp knives as well!

Music:

Heavy Metal with an edge, I grew up on L.A. Guns, Spread Eagle, Bang Tango. I like anything that has a hard edge. Disturbed, Brides of Destruxtion, The Cult etc. I grew up in the "hair metal" era! Jim Steinman is someone who you might not expect me to say however I think he is brilliant.

Movies:

Check out these movies. I think you will see why we need to do something! Gladiator, The Patriot, I like anything that moves the mind and puts you in another place.

Television:

The Sopranos, Rescue Me, Nip Tuck, Deadwood, Rome, The Shield, ER. Discovery channel.

Books:

The Chronicles of Narnia, Krystonia. Anything racing.

Heroes:

My Dad and Grandpa. These are 2 people who taught me to stand up for my convictions and not sway or forsake my integrity for anyone or anything. They are truly great men.
