About Me

Welcome to my MYSPACE! I'm a musician in the Chicago area and have been performing for over 25 years. My wife Kelly and I have 3 awesome kids, and an assortment of animals and cars. I'll play almost anywhere (and have!) I am a self-taught drummer who picked up the sticks as a teen and haven't been able to put them down since! (if i ever did, my sisters would steal them - guess they didn't appreciate my practicing day and night back then!) I started out with some friends, playing block parties and local bars, played with an assortment of local bands, some talented (and some not so talented!) Got a spot with No Mercy in the early 80's - some of the most talented muscians in town - Sean Finley, Tyler Bates and Al Uraski.. U GUYS ROCK!! When we decided to part ways, I scouted around...and landed the gig with Tattoo, a GREAT bunch of guys who had the look, the sound and the TALENT!! Tattoo was definitely the learning experience of my life with some kick ass musicians who took me in under their wing and showed a young guy all there was to know about writing, recording and performing outside of the "local" club scene. We had one hell of a time - shot a video in New York, performed with some great national acts, and recorded a few albums..you can find 'em on ebay if you need to add some classic TATTOO to your collection!
When Tattoo disbanded in the late 90's, I again went out and performed with several other local bands over the next 10 years and had a great time.

As an absolute fluke, I ran into Kevin M. Buck a few years back - we started shooting the shit..gave it a shot..and here I am performing with Kevin and Eric....I recorded an album with Kevin - "Initiation" on Osiris Records(another GREAT album to add to your collection- get em at a show or at www.kevinmbuck.com)Slay The Dragon (profile song) is a cut off the "Initiation" album...

I'm also currently performing with Bad Medicine...Bad Medicine has been a great experience and one hell of a lot of fun! We've performed in stadiums, clubs, fests and Navy Bases - worldwide..We've been to Japan and Dallas to name a few..check out the website for current dates - www.bad-medicine.com.

Come out to a show and make sure to say HI..If you took the time out of your life to check out a show I'd like to thank you personally - so again, make sure you say "hey" if you're there!Be sure to check back often for new dates - you can also check the band pages to confirm dates before you head out!!
