About Me

I approach creating music like writing literature. I combine melodies, soundscapes, and rhythms together into passages of aural imagery, plot, and character. I have suceeded if I have been able to evoke the emotion of the listener.
My music ideas are drawn from many aspects of the the world around me: as complex as science, nature, relationships, and sensuality, and as simple as the random ambient textures of everyday life. I also draw from the world within in: dreams, daydreams, train of thought tangents, and unusual synaptic firings that I am not able to explain.
Lately, I have been writing music by using concepts in certain areas of science such as quantum physics, astrophysics, nanotechnology, astronomy, and biotechnology. Let it be known that I understand such fields at a very general "big picture" level, and am by far a scientist. But perhaps one could consider me a scientist of kick ass electronica!
I started playing guitar at the age of 12. Started DJ'ing at the age of 15 back in the late 80's and early 90's. Picked up writing and producing electronica at 18 and been dabling in it ever since.
I do this stuff for fun and to keep my sanity.

To Sleep, Perchance to Dream

I have always been amazed at the way an ordinary observer lends so much more credence and attaches so much more importance to waking events than to those occurring in dreams.... Man... is above all th...
