About Me

I am everything I present myself to be. I enjoy pondering the significant to the insignificant. I enjoy trying to make sense of the mundane and partaking in the most trivial of activities. I have no idea what my personal consistencies are.You can choose to infer who I am through the rest of my profile or you can message me.

My Interests

Computers, religion, politics, golf, exercising, video games (Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo and other two-dimensional fighters), dancing (I'm really bad and out of beat but I like it), and chatting on-line (when I'm too tired for anything else)

I'd like to meet:

I enjoy meeting people; although, my time is rather erratic. I'm a horrible planner so I avoid making promises. I like to meet new people who don't expect me to be spontaneous or intelligent. Otherwise, everyone else, I'd prefer to meet initially in person.

Music:

It depends on my mood. I listen to classical, worship, rap, and Hawaiian. Don't ask me to name music nor bands because I'm horrible at recognition.

Movies:

I'll watch almost anything. I usually reserve my comments for later, depending on how much time and money I wasted.

Television:

A waste of time...

Books:

The Bible, The C Programming Language, Ender's Game... these are the books I read recently or use the most frequently.

Heroes:

Jesus, Moses, Paul

A farewell to 2003 and a welcoming of 2004--HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!

I guess it's interesting... 2003 was full of memorable events. I hope 2004 will be just as memorable but less painful than 2003. I'm back at home now, on Maui and to be in a relaxed place is refres...

Holding onto the past... does it define us or motivate us?

Today, at morning devotions, Han and I discussed a wide array of topics. With the new year drawing closer and closer with each minute, recollecting the past seems to be more prevalent. A point of di...

Return of the King taught me persistence...

I must admit, sitting through all 3.5 hours of the movie can test the fortitude of one's bladder and intestines. I'm just in complete awe of the movie and it rendered my ability to produce deep thoug...

What is it about getting older?

Sometimes, I wonder... what is it about getting older that changes our perception? I remember a time when I would jump at the opportunity to see a movie on opening night. Today was the opening nig...

If I was a muscle cell, I'd be pretty upset...

Here is a completely random thought... If you thought you had it rough, imagine if you were a muscle cell. I don't know anything about physiology so this is my own, "demented" generalization of it...

Creativity... a thing of the past?

This is something that came up a while back. A couple of weeks ago, I was shopping with a couple of other guys. If they want, they can volunteer their names but right now, I don't want to implicate ...
