I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

I love Los Angeles! I love everything about it. I love the fact that I can go out any night of the week and see something amazing.I am a graphic designer of some sorts. I do freelance artwork for places that I love, so it's not really work. If you are in LA and see a Root Down flyer, (Or even in OC, or now NYC starting next month!), you've seen my work. Also with Descarga, Soul Pie, and many others. Working with Kajmere Sound, home of many great underground artists, I get to meet people that I admire. Jurassic 5, Ztrip, The World Famous Beat Junkies, Shadow, Lunar Heights, The Procussions, Breakestra, Dilated Peoples, The Rebirth, The Visionaries, etc.I go out quite frequently, just to see what's happening. I have a great group of friends, and a great conscious vibe about me. I don't ever get mad, (well hardly ever!).

My Interests

Where to start? I love music, but will go into that elsewhere. I am a vinyl junkie; I have over 22,000 records. I love playing music for people, and have for a long time. Yes, I am a dj, although rusty as hell! I love the martial arts, and have studied many different forms. Mostly Japanese styles. I go out quite frequently, because nothing is worse than missing greatness. How many times have you heard, "We went to this party, and this person was there." Or, "This dj was there and he set the party off!" I am also a huge fan of movies, and watch many films. I tend to me a Film Noir person, but a good film is a good film. More on that below. I also read books like there is no tomorrow, and try to read more books than I read the year before. My best is 56, and I don't think I will ever reach that again. More on that later. And is there any food better than sushi? And Reggae On The River (ROTR!!) I am an all LA sports team fanatic. UCLA, Dodgers, Lakers, Kings, and as soon as we get a new NFL team, I will be a fan. College hoops as good as it gets, and I am MIA during March Madness.

I'd like to meet:

Conscious headz who are good company. No drama.

Music:

There is so much good music out there, it's hard to narrow it down. (This list is going to keep growing contantly!) I try to see as many live shows as I can, and love so many different types, it's sick. A Genre list works for me. Hip-Hop: I try to listen to more concsious-vibe feelin' shit. I rarely listen to commercial hip-hop as most of it is wiggedy-whack!! You might see some artists that are played commercially, but 90% of it is their old stuff. This may take some time, so grab a drink, light a spliff and soak it in!
