THE FIRST GREAT LEGITIMATE PYRAMID SCHEME?

About Me

I'm a modest 6 foot, i've always been told i have a strong resemblance to Shaggy from scooby doo. This does not bother me given that he is actually my long lost twin. Go figure. I have good genes, and hope to one day live in a world without tofu. I like funny dance moves. OH YEAH.....peep my blog yahurr..... http://shambamontour.blogspot.com

My Interests

Music is my life, as the cliche goes. I love to play with people; I love to play alone. I love to play. People change when they play music. The child comes out. Pots and pans and smiles. It's true. Check out the people i play with: My Brightest Diamond .. Inlets, The High Class Elite, Tutti Quanti, rider, the Kiss-Off, Marla Hansen, LEMMING, locksley (sub duty), Vamoose, and of course John Lithgow. etc. etc. I also love my friends. They are the best friends in the world (except for the ones who really fuck me over)

I'd like to meet:

Interesting members of the creative elite. And perhaps a loving female who writes for a living.

Music:

Herbie Hancock, Miroslav Vitous, Medeski Martin & Wood, Jaco Pastorius, Rage Against the Machine, Tortoise, Isotope 217, Led Zeppelin, Aceyalone, Aesop Rock, Blackalicious, Bob Marley & the Wailers, Jaga Jazzist, the Bad Plus, Cream, Radiohead (though overrated), James Brown, Ohio Players, Sly and the Family Stone, Nirvana, De la Soul. I'm mostly into instrumental stuff these days, but you gotta represent the classics.

Movies:

Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Dirty Work, Ace Ventura, Spellbound, Contempt, anything by Hitchcock, Round Midnight, anything by Akira Kurosawa (definitely throne of blood or Yojimbo, but Roshomon is awesome as well). I'll watch anything by the Cohen Brothers, but my favorites are Fargo and the Big Lebowski. All stoner movies rock if not only for their blatant stereotypes.

Television:

It's a necessary evil. I hate it and i love it, but my favorite shows would have to be seinfeld, south park, reno 911, and my guilty pleasure, the surreal life (if you haven't seen it, you are missing out. Flava flaaaaaaaav)...I'm a huge sports tv fan.

Books:

Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole is the best book i've read. Slaughterhouse five is great, as is Cat's Cradle, Black Rain, anything by Russell Banks (i suggest rule of the bone), Guerilla Warfare, In cold Blood. I will be the first to say i don't read enough...but can you ever really read enough?

Heroes:

Charles Mingus, John Lithgow, Tom Morello, Jaco Pastorius, Bogart. It's hard to have heroes in this day in age.
