Christian Vidal was born in Zarate, Buenos Aires and he first started playing guitar at the early age of eight. In 2007 he became part of The Road Vultures, a band that was formed with the purpose of backing former Mr. Big vocalist Eric Martin. The Road Vultures have already toured with him through South America and India, and a new South American tour is scheduled for 2008. Rest of the line - up are Charlie Giardina (bass) and Pablo Garrocho (drums). Christian released his solo album 'El Viaje' in 2005. There he mixes instrumental rock with different native argentinian styles like Folklore and Tango. With that album he's been touring Spain a couple of times and he's setting a new one for this year. Also one of the songs from 'El Viaje' was chosen as background music for a folklore radio show in Argentina. In 2001 he started teaching guitar lessons in I.T.M.C. (Technological Institute for Contemporary Music), regarding improvisation and chord melody applied to argentinian native music. He has also been writing for Guitarristas.ar magazine. As a session player, he recorded and also backed folklore artist Motta Luna through different arenas regarding that style. Also in 2001 he formed the heavy metal act Cuero along with former Kamikaze vocalist Enrique Gomez Yafal. Cuero did several tours through Argentina and also participated in a Metallica Tribute Album. Since 1990 Christian has been giving guitar lessons and also has been giving diverse clinics in Argentina and Spain as well.

------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------Nacido en zarate Bs.As Argentina, comenzó a tocar la guitarra a los ocho años de edad. En el año 2007 formo The Road Vultures , banda especialmente armada para acompañar a Eric Martin (ex Mr Big) Junto a el han realizado algunos tours por sudamerica e India, actualmente preparan el proximo tour para Junio de este año. La banda se completa con Charlie Giardina(bajo) y Pablo Garrocho(batería). En el año 2005 edito su disco solista “El viaje” en el cual fusiona el rock instrumental con diferentes estilos Argentinos como el tango y el folklore, ya ha realizado dos giras por España presentando este material y se espera la proxima para este año. Uno de los temas de su disco ha sido elegido como cortina en un programa radial de la fm folklorica nacional. Desde el año 2001 es docente de guitarra en I.T.M.C (instituto tecnológico de música contemporánea) Allí tiene a su cargo las cátedras de improvisación y chord melody aplicado a la música popular argentina. También es columnista de la revista Guitarristas.ar . Como sesionista ha estado tocando y grabando junto al artista folklorico Motta Luna, junto a este ha recorrido Varios escenarios de la escena folklorica local. Hasta el año 2001 formo parte de Cuero, banda de heavy metal que habia fundado junto a Enrique Gómez Yafal (ex vocalista de kamikaze), también participaron del disco tributo a Metallica y de Numerosas giras por la escena local. Desde el año 1990 se dedica a la docencia del instrumento y ha brindado numerosas clínicas tanto en Argentina como en España.
