I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I was born, raised, educated and conditioned in Nashville, TN. I was raised in a musical/artsy environment and have been playing piano since age five. I am a quite spontaneous, active, adventurous individual. Music, coffee, motorcycles and traveling are major hobbies/occupations of mine. Staying in shape is very important to me. Whether it's swimming, running, biking, whatever, it happens 6 days a week! I love meeting new people and am constantly looking for new friends and experiences of any kind.Currently I'm a touring musician playing with various artists, and hopefully some sessions as well. In a few years I don't know what I'll be doing. But, I have a list of things I want to accomplish in my life, and nothing will stop me from doing that. I'm always looking for companions and co-adventurers. Some day I would love to live in New Zealand...doing what? I haven't the slightest idea, but I will live there at some point. For the mean time, I'm living in Nashville, looking for work as a musician, nerd, friend, and a professional person! And, if all this hasn't sated your inquisitive nature, please, ask. I try to answer all my mail and never bite!-if you want to know more, my blog on my real webpage will help.web.mac.com/germanhans

My Interests

Traveling, Music, Friends, Relationships, Motorcycles, Coffee, Reading, Movies, Skiing, Boating, Swimming, Running, Hiking, Rock Climbing, Frisbees, Talking, Movies, Sandals, Adventures, Technology, Skydiving....pretty much anything that is either entertaining, dangerous, or adventuresome!

I'd like to meet:

anyone well-spoken, quick-witted, and well-educated. . . .though i'm usually too quiet-natured to say hello, at first. I'd also love to meet a bunch of people that no longer exist. Since that's impossible, there's no point mentioning...but if you want to know, please ask.

Music:

anything fresh, and harmonically interesting. Jazz, R&B, Neo-Soul, good Pop/Rock, Pop/Country, and Shooby Taylor (hehe).

Movies:

Anything creative that doesn't waste my time and money. I have a passion for clever cartoons, funny movies, action films, and the occasional drama. Modern-day Disney sucks, as well as most films that star or involve Barbra Streisand, Renee Zellweger in any sort of prominent role.

Television:

Discovery, TLC, VH1, MTV, Cartoon Network, G4, Comedy Central, Spike, ESPN2, OLN, History Channel...I gave channels instead of actual shows b/c I like most of their programming, give-or-take Real World, dating shows, sitcoms, home improvement and cooking shows.

Books:

Tolkien (anything), Ayn Rand (Atlas Shrugged), Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time), C.S. Lewis (anything), John Milton (Paradise Lost), Dostoyevsky (Brother's Karamazov), Daniel Defoe (Robinson Crusoe), Frank Herbert (Dune), Captivating, British Literature, American Literary Classics (not the weird existential fluff), Shakespeare....

Heroes:

Musical greats, in any genre. Explorers. Artists. People who live passionately their whole lives and leave this world having worked and experienced as many of their dreams as possible.
