About Me

man
An unusual mix of electronics and art, technology and earth.. A left-handed scorpio -as much a dreamer as a visionary and philosopher. Deep, dark and purposeful with music that oozes raw sensuality and powerful emotion. Other times a soft, natural light shines through and rhythms are quirky and fun, wild and unpredictable. Always, however, with an underlying direction and message. I am DJ Foundation, made of flesh and circuitry, pulsing with the beat of humanity. Inside my eyes, are reflections of the universe.
machine
CircuitWorks! is the Lab. The studio. The dance floor. The practical application of the ideals and dreams. I repair lost machines, studio gear, and equipment. Circuits, electricity, devices and metal all come together on my operating table, and I am the machine surgeon. I work to save technology from times when things were solid and real, while at the same time embracing a future of light and flexible possibilities. Creation is as much a part of the operation as rebirth. The future exists within each project as single instances and events become like ever present dreams. Together with others like me, we create moments of bliss and times of freedom. Imagination is the only limit.

Influences: People, places, colors, ideas and experiences. I like to create conceptual art that one can not only view and occasionally interact with, but experience and consume until all of their senses are alive with the satisfaction that it brings.

A punk rock band playing techno. Or a techno producer writing punk music, I'm not sure which.

The tiniest of vibrations in a small metal needle as it rides the grooves etched in a plastic disc. If you amplify this, it has the unique potential of not only aurally illustrating your very thoughts and emotions, but also electrifying the world around you and breaking down every possible barrier you can imagine. Really it's a pretty neat phenomenon -one that continually fascinates me, anyway.

Here's the links to some of the sets I've recorded for free distribution over the years. I'm currently in the process of putting together a new mix, so stay tuned. Enjoy!
