I am interested in ANYTHING related to MUSIC. Recently realized how addicted to music I am, I can barely function without it. You can very often find me humming a song or simultaneously listening to music while working, watching football, writing, or just lounging.I love to read poetry. I am beginning to share my works with others. BUT contrary to popular belief I am SHY! I have a lot going on inside this head of mine... but I just don't want to reveal that to the world... but I AM WORKING ON IT!I love to read and write. I would like to publish my own book one day... It takes time though... but as I read more I realize EVERYONE has a story to tell. No one story is better than the other... it's up to you to get your story out there. I have also learned no one is alone. your experience has been shared by someone somewhere... Reach out...you might find them around the corner from you...
I would like to meet My Grandmother, Lauryn Hill, Lorraine Hansberry (1930 - 1965), Oprah Winfrey, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Denzel Washington, Hillary Clinton, Patti Labelle, Natalie Cole, Otis Redding, Rosa Parks, and you...Sometimes you have to hold yourself... you came in this world alone.. and you will leave it that way... so learn to take care of yourself... till you find a helpmate...... width="425" height="350" ....
My all time favorite artist is Otis Redding. I remember when I was a young child sneaking to listen to the radio... I stumbled upon OLDIES 100... and a song came on that I absolutely fell in love with, "I've been loving you too long, to stop now". Being an emotional 9 year old girl who believed that I was head over heels in love with some little boy named Leshon F. I just KNEW that song was about me.But as I grew older I realized that the song touched me for other reasons... the way in which he sang the song and all the other songs that I discovered were OTIS REDDINGS!I have and always will be in love with the passion that emits from an artists while performing.I will listen to ANYTHING Hard Rock, Trance, Go-Go, Rap, POP, Latin, Regaee, It really doesn't matter. I love music. But if I have to choose one person, one night, front row seat tickets, small arena, and back stage passes... dead or alive OTIS REDDING has my vote.
All time favorite movies... well let's see... The Goonies, What about Bob, Basic Instinct, The Princess Bride, Ray, The Family Man, La Bamba, Hitch, Annie, Set It Off, Glitter, The Color Purple, Why do Fools Fall in Love, Kill Bill Part I, Boomerang, Fight Club, Brown Sugar, Five Heartbeats, Mona Lisa Smile, Troy, Girl Interupted, The Wiz, The Wizard of Oz, and Bustin Loose.I love a good love story, a good sex scene, gruesome violence, Sister Girl movies, Music related movies, movies with a twist...I can watch a movie 100 times and never get tired of it... I usually watch movies over and over and look at the hilarious things in the background. Right now I love watching Ray.. they took so much time to do that movie.. even the props and extras are on point!
