I'm a 27 year old black female (in case you couldn't tell by the pictures) who absolutely loves life 99.9% of the time. The other .01% is spent trying to figure out how to make things better.
I absolutely LOVE to dance. I am currently taking ballroom dancing lessons which includes salsa, merengue, waltz, rhumba, tango and a couple of others. It's a lot of fun! I also love music. I love sounds and rhythms and movements. I feel like for me music and dancing makes the rough times a little bit easier to take. When I'm feeling bad, give me some good music and a dance floor and I'll just dance my cares away! I also enjoy reading good books and watching documentaries and independant films. Two places you will catch me in the near future are the Philadelphia Film Festival and the Urban World Film Festival. I can't wait. I also enjoy painting and doing arts and crafts.
I don't really have a fetish for meeting celebrities. Although, I wouldn't be mad if I met Tyrese--I wouldn't be mad one bit! But who I really want to meet are other individuals interested in real estate, especially private investors. See, meeting celebrities will never get me to where I want to be in life, but meeting these individuals will.
Lenny Kravitz, Jill Scott, The Ananda Project, Jay-Z, Slum Village, Jamiroquai, Conya Doss, Raheem DeVaughn, Sean Paul, Erykah Badu, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Anita Baker, Rahsaan Patterson....and so much more..... It really doesn't matter what genre of music it is, as long as it's got a good beat, its usually alright with me.
Coming to America (still my all time favorite), most Barbara Streisand movies from the 70's (what?! they're good!), Something New was really good, Baby Boy and X. Also mostly anything with Denzel in it is good.
Everybody Hates Chris is so funny! Documentaries of whatever type, The Tyra show and the Oprah Show, Girlfriends, America's Next Top Model, What Not to Wear, Sex & the City, The King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond.
Anything by Connie Briscoe, Eric Jerome Dickey is cool, Zane is pretty enjoyable. Alex Haley's books are always good...very long, but very good.
